Philosophy of the Panhellenic Reiki Association:
- Honesty in behavior and transactions, and clarity in thought.
- Willingness for each participant to recognize prejudice in themselves and replace it with truth and love, and the promotion of compassion toward those who choose not to do so.
- Recognition of each person's truth without criticism or condemnation.
- Respect for the other person's right to have their own values and beliefs.
- Appreciation for knowledge received through experience and inner guidance rather than through authority-based teachings.
- Openness to outcomes, whatever they may be, rather than mental attachment to what we want.
- Taking responsibility for ourselves and for our attitude toward life.
- Recognition that we create all aspects of our lives and are fully responsible for the results we bring to ourselves.
- Faith that each of us has our own strengths and abilities to solve our problems.
- Using negative and positive experiences in order to heal and improve as human beings.
- Complete trust in the higher power, regardless of the name each of us chooses to give it.
- Achieving selfless love, unconditional love, as the highest goal of our expression.
